The history of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since its creation in 1968 has only made it grow to the point of becoming the best public university in Spain, highlighting its Faculty of Law, considered the best in the whole country.

The Complutense University of Madrid, “La Docta” as it is known, is the oldest university in the community of Madrid and, as such, one of the most prestigious. Its history and prestige go beyond the borders of the autonomous region and it is known as one of the best Spanish-speaking universities.

We begin with one of the most respected institutions in the sector; Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio. The university was founded in 2000 and belongs to the SEK Educational Institution, where its studies in medicine and health, communication and humanities, education, technology and science stand out, as well as a complete sports programme.

Founded in St. Louis, in the state of Missouri, in 1818, it was not until 1967 that they decided to expand and open a campus beyond the American borders, in Madrid. This is, for the moment, their only campus outside Missouri.

Its Bachelor’s degree focuses on areas such as the humanities, and the study of Spanish and English philology, marketing, mechanical engineering and economics. In addition, they have more studies within a lower academic range called “Minors”.

This private university, founded as such in 1993, has two campuses where it carries out its teaching and administrative activities. Firstly, the Moncloa Campus, where the faculties of humanities and communication sciences, law and economic and business sciences are located.

Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM)

Founded in 1989, this private university has three campuses spread throughout Madrid. The main campus in Villaviciosa de Odón, a second campus in Alcobendas and the latest and most modern Creative Campus, in the heart of Madrid.
